Bon Bon Tresor is Proud to support the Sanfilippo Children's Foundation

January 07, 2015

The Sanfilippo Children's Foundation is dedicated to progressing clinical research into the effective treatment of Mucopolysaccharidosis III, also known as MPSIII or Sanfilippo Syndrome.

Sanfilippo is a serious condition, delivering the most devastating outcome imaginable to patients of the disease and their families. But there is hope. There has been significant clinical progress in recent years and we believe that an effective treatment is within our reach.

Much of this progress has been due to the tireless efforts of foundations and biotech companies established by families and researchers with the specific objective to pioneer treatments, taking them from “bench to bed” within accelerated timeframes.

Sales of A little tin of Hope raise vital research dollars to help the Foundation access potentially life-saving medical procedures and treatments so that Isla, Jude and approximately 40-50 other Australian children living with Sanfilippo receive a chance at life.

As PSi's July edition explained the act of lighting a candle is an act of HOPE. Our hope is to fund a cure for the childhood disease, Sanfilippo Syndrome, and help save the lives of all children battling this deadly disease.

Labelled A little tin of Hope, this beautiful range of candles is designed by fragrance evaluator, Erica Moore from Fragrances of the World. A personal friend of the Donnell family, Erica has created a signature scent for the candles.

The fragrance is lavender for the international MPS colour of purple and the plant’s known calming effect, rosemary for remembrance of those children who have lost the fight to Sanfilippo Syndrome, and mint for virtue, warmth and protection from illness.

Bon Bon Tresor has offered it's support to the foundation and will be stocking the candles in store.

Should you require any further information or wish to discuss an alternative dispatch arrangement please do not hesitate to get in touch.
